Jillian Barberie, the Canadian beautiful model, actress and television personality who brought a whiff of fresh air to Fox 11 Morning News and Good Day L A with her fascinating style of weather forecasting was born on 26th September of 1966 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Known as cute weather-babe, Jillian Barberie after graduating from Mohawk College, Hamilton with a two-year diploma in broadcast journalism has worked for various television stations including 'The Weather Network' in Montreal; 'WSVN' in Miami; and 'KTTV' in Los Angeles both being Fox affiliates.
Jillian Barberie began her career as weather forecaster for Canada's Weather Network in the month of September of 1990. She later moved to WSVN, the Fox's news station for South Florida in February of 1992 as their weeknight weather-babe. When in August of 1992, Hurricane Andrew - the second most destructive hurricane in US history - devastated the South Florida and other parts of Southern United States, Jillian Barberie presented live reports on the disaster for a straight 48 hours. Jillian Barberie also presented about sports and entertainment and other topical issues on weekly segments like '7 Freestyle' and 'Express Yourself'. After an year Jillian Barberie moved to Fox 11 for weeknight editions of the Emmy-winning Fox 11's 10 O' Clock News in October of 1993 and two years later joined KTTV, the Fox affiliate station in Los Angeles, where she hosted a talk show 'Good Day L.A.' that was aired from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM Monday through Friday. Jillian Barberie presented live reports for Fox Overtime and hosted Fox 11's post-game show that followed 1995 and 1996 NFL games.
Soon after the success of 'Good Day L.A.' on Fox, Jillian Barberie began 'Good Day Live' the nationally syndicated show in 2001. But three years later in 2004, Jillian Barberie was fired from the show. Jillian Barberie's success as weather-babe on Fox television brought her several other television shows that include "Beverly Hills, 90210" [1994], "Delivered" [1998], and had recurring role of news reporter Foxy Levin on "V.I.P." [7 episodes; 1999-2002], "Good Morning, Miami" [8 episodes: 2003] and several other single episodic shows. Jillian has also appeared as a guest host on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee in June 2000 and has also hosted her own show "EX-treme Dating" in 2002 that ran for two years. She later married actor Grant Reynolds on July 8th, 2006 and they together have a child named Ruby Raven Reynolds born July 2007. Jillian Barberie this time changed her surname to Reynolds but retained the surname 'Barberie' as her professional surname. However she is known as Jillian Reynolds on Fox NFL Sunday.
